At least 10 people were taken to hospitals following a shooting at a party at Arcadia Lake near Oklahoma City on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at a gathering of young people. Police expect the total number of injured to rise, as some victims drove themselves to seek medical treatment. Those hospitalized are reported to be in various conditions.
Edmond police have not yet taken any suspects into custody. While a police spokesperson described the shooting as a terrifying situation, authorities stated there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the public. Investigators are currently speaking with victims and witnesses across the metro area.
