Nearly one million people have collectively lost $3.81 billion after purchasing President Donald Trump’s $TRUMP memecoin. An analysis by blockchain analytics firm Nansen, covering transactions through the end of June, found that 988,905 of the token's buyers are currently underwater.
In contrast, President Trump earned a payout of $636 million from the same cryptocurrency bet.
The report details how different investors fared, noting that while most retail investors lost money, sophisticated traders performed better.
