Recent attacks have escalated conflict between Ukraine and Russia, resulting in civilian casualties on both sides. A Russian drone strike overnight Monday on the Black Sea port city of Odesa killed three people, including a 2-year-old girl, and damaged buildings. Ukrainian officials report two women and a toddler were among those killed.

Further strikes continued Tuesday. A Russian drone hit a city bus in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, killing three and injuring twelve. Officials stated the bus was deliberately targeted while picking up passengers.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, aiming to disrupt funding for the war effort. A Ukrainian drone strike in Russia’s Vladimir region resulted in the deaths of a 12-year-old boy and his parents in their apartment.
