Warren Buffett has confirmed that he has stopped donating to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ending nearly two decades of contributions to the organization.

The decision follows revelations and disclosures regarding interactions between Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This year, the Berkshire Hathaway chairman redirected approximately $6 billion in stock to four family foundations. Buffett has donated about $47 billion in Berkshire stock since 2006, including $4.5 billion last year.

Additionally, Buffett has set a binding 2034 deadline for his full fortune.
