Manchester City have agreed a deal in principle to sign 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from French side Lille. The transfer is worth 100 million euros, consisting of a base fee of 95 million euros (£81.4 million) and 5 million euros in potential add-ons.

The signing of the Moroccan midfielder will bring the club's total summer spending to nearly £200 million. This follows the earlier acquisition of Elliot Anderson, who joined the club for £116 million earlier in the window.

Bouaddi was stood down from Lille's Ligue 1 match against Angers on Sunday. He is expected to undergo a medical with City, with the transfer becoming official in the next few days.
