Liverpool sign Bradley Barcola from PSG for record fee

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of France international forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain. The move comes as the club seeks to reinforce its forward line following the departure of Mohamed Salah. Barcola has signed a long-term, five-year contract.

The transfer is a record-breaking deal, with an initial fee of £106 million that could rise to £123 million, or approximately €145 million. This makes Barcola the most expensive player to leave the French league.

Barcola is the second winger to join the club this summer, following the arrival of Victor Muñoz. Head coach Andoni Iraola, who replaced Arne Slot, has prioritized signing wingers as he aims to rebuild the front line.

A key player in the Paris Saint-Germain offense since joining in 2023, Barcola won two Champions League titles and was part of France's squad at the 2026 World Cup. Upon completing the move, the forward stated that winning the Premier League is one of his biggest dreams.
