A passenger on a Ryanair Boeing 737 NG flight was partially sucked through a broken window shortly after takeoff from Greece in July. The incident occurred when a piece of the aircraft's engine broke off and smashed the window.
The US National Transportation Safety Board announced on Thursday that bird remains, including feathers, were found on the damaged parts of the engine.
Authorities suggest that the plane may have struck birds during takeoff, leading to the engine failure and the subsequent damage to the cabin window.
