Israeli forces reportedly carried out an attack on the Abu al-Duhur airbase in Idlib, located approximately 70 kilometers from the Turkish border. Syrian state TV, quoting a military source, stated that the attack caused damage but resulted in no casualties. Israel has not officially claimed the strikes.

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said the United States remains deeply concerned by the strikes on the airbase. Barrack characterized the attack as an unnecessary escalation that does not advance regional stability.

Damascus has repeatedly condemned incursions in the country’s south.
