Pressure is mounting on Prime Minister Starmer's government as Labour rivals begin to circle. Because the ruling party holds a large majority in Britain's parliament, whoever leads the party will by default become prime minister.
Wes Streeting, who recently resigned, is one of several challengers who could try to unseat the prime minister.
Streeting stated that Britain's decision to leave the EU had made the country its weakest. He has also backed Manchester's Andy Burnham as one of the best options to challenge Starmer.
