Mohamed Salah arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday to complete his move to the Turkish top-tier side Trabzonspor. Wearing the club's burgundy and blue kit, the Egyptian forward was greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport.
The Egypt captain is joining Turkey's fourth-largest football club on a two-year deal that could be worth at least 34 million euros. Trabzonspor is set to officially confirm the signing of the forward, who has been linked with a move to Turkiye since announcing his departure from Liverpool.
Salah leaves Liverpool after nine years with the club. During his tenure, he scored 257 goals in 442 appearances, winning the Premier League twice and the Champions League once.
