Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested Tuesday in Wisconsin. The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department took the NFL star into custody on five criminal charges related to domestic violence.
The charges stem from a disturbance complaint involving Jacobs over the weekend. Among the five domestic abuse charges he faces are felony strangulation and suffocation.
Jacobs was released from the Wisconsin jail on Wednesday. Authorities continue to investigate the allegations of domestic abuse as the case remains ongoing.
