Korda edged out England’s Charley Hull and Mexico’s Gaby Lopez by a single shot to secure the long-coveted win. The victory was sealed when Korda's final 2 1/2-foot par putt curled around the cup and dropped in.

The path to victory included Korda seizing a share of the lead at Riviera with two straight 4-under 67s. During the third round, Korda carded a 67 while Hull hit a 65.
