US Army unit offers 4-day Grand Theft Auto VI pass for re-enlistment

defense & military

A U.S. army unit in Georgia is offering its troops a special bonus if they re-enlist soon. The incentive consists of four extra days off timed around the November release of the video game Grand Theft Auto VI.

The offer comes as the battalion faces re-enlistment challenges and declining morale.

To be eligible for the bonus, soldiers must re-enlist for a minimum of two years and up to six years. So far, 20 of the 130 eligible soldiers have taken up the re-enlistment offer.
