Monaco police hunt suspect after parcel bomb blast injures three

An explosion at a residential building in Monaco on Monday evening left three people wounded, two of whom are reported to be in critical condition. The blast occurred around 9 p.m. on a street located near the French border.

Minister of State Christophe Mirmand stated that the explosion was very likely an attack. Authorities believe the incident was caused by a makeshift bomb. CCTV footage from the residential building lobby shows a man dropping a backpack shortly before the device detonated.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspected attacker. The individual is believed to have fled to France following the blast.
