The United Arab Emirates reported that its air defenses engaged missile and drone threats launched by Iran early Friday.

According to the UAE Defense Ministry, air defenses intercepted two ballistic missiles and three drones. Three people were wounded during the engagement.

The incident has further strained and challenged the shaky, month-long ceasefire currently in place between the U.S. and Iran.
