President Donald Trump walked out of an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" after a tense exchange with host Kristen Welker. The interview, which took place on Friday in Wisconsin and aired on Sunday, ended abruptly as the president was pressed on his repeated claims regarding election integrity.

Welker challenged the president's assertions that the 2020 presidential election and the recent California primaries were rigged. Trump cited no evidence to support these claims, nor did he provide evidence regarding his assertions about January 6. The host also questioned him regarding compensation for those charged in the January 6 insurrection.

Before exiting, Trump described Welker as either crooked or stupid. He stated, "I've had enough," and walked out of the interview.
