Actor Sam Neill has died from pneumonia. His agent, Philip Grenz, shared the news on Thursday.
The beloved New Zealand actor was best known for his role in Jurassic Park. According to a statement, Neill had fought and beaten lymphoma before he fell ill.
He will be honored at a private family memorial to be held at his New Zealand farm.
Grenz stated that he was providing more information after speaking with Neill's family to address news reports that contained inaccuracies and outright falsehoods.
