Two people are dead and one is in critical condition following a chemical leak at a manufacturing facility in West Virginia, officials announced Wednesday.
The incident took place at the Catalyst Refiners plant in Institute. The leak occurred as workers were cleaning the plant and preparing to shut down at least part of the decommissioning facility.
Following the release, workers and firefighters were rushed to the hospital in private cars and a garbage truck.
