New Mexico AG sues Epstein's attorney and accountant for concealing crimes

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez filed a civil lawsuit on Wednesday against Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime attorney, Darren Indyke, and accountant, Richard Kahn. The lawsuit names the pair as defendants in their individual capacities and as co-executors of Epstein’s estate, while also naming the estate and the 1953 Trust which holds its assets.

The complaint accuses Indyke and Kahn of facilitating and concealing Epstein's sex trafficking crimes, specifically including abuse at Zorro Ranch. According to the lawsuit, the two associates received generous salaries in exchange for furthering Epstein's criminal project and helping to finance the trafficking operation.

The state is seeking to block Indyke and Kahn from accepting any further payments from Epstein’s estate, which is estimated to be worth more than $100 million. This legal action, filed in the US district court for the district of New Mexico, aims to stop payments while litigation continues and to recover damages for survivors of the alleged sexual abuse.
