Iranian state media has aired a video threatening the life of Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump. The footage, reportedly released by media linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claims that a $10 million bounty has been placed on the president's son.
The broadcast purportedly tracks Barron Trump, showing the location of his university, escort vehicles, and Secret Service posts. The report alleges that the president's youngest son is being fully monitored.
The U.S. Secret Service confirmed it is aware of the video. Spokesman Nate Herring stated that the agency investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward its protectees.
Iranian outlets have circulated threats against the president and his family on multiple occasions since the start of the war in February and following the U.S. assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
