Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national, was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents during a traffic stop in Houston on Tuesday. Officials have since stated that Araujo was not the intended target of the operation.

Three men who witnessed the killing have challenged the explanation offered by ICE. A lawyer representing two of the witnesses stated that no officer was threatened during the incident.

As the investigation continues, no footage has yet surfaced that captures the moment of the shooting.
