Anthropic weighs funding at $900B to $1.15T valuation, higher than OpenAI

startups venture capital fundraising artificial intelligence

Anthropic PBC, the maker of the AI Claude, is weighing a new funding round that would value the artificial intelligence developer at more than $900 billion.

The startup has received multiple pre-emptive offers at valuations in the $850 billion to $900 billion range and is currently in talks with investors about raising cash.

This valuation would more than double the company's current valuation and could potentially leapfrog its longtime rival OpenAI as the world’s most valuable AI startup.
