Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returning to Britain with their children

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are planning to return to Britain this month after living in the United States for over six years. The couple and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are expected to leave their California home within days to relocate to the United Kingdom.

The former senior royals will reportedly live in a private, non-royal residence outside of London. While they are returning for an extended stay starting this fall, they will not resume their roles as working members of the royal family. The couple originally stepped back from their royal duties in 2020.

This return comes amid Prince Harry's expressed desire to reconcile with his father, the UK monarch, who is currently being treated for cancer. Harry has indicated a wish to spend more time with his father following a period of estrangement from the royal family.

Although the relocation is set for later in August, further details regarding the couple's activities and plans upon their return remain unclear.
