Video released Thursday shows a suspect appearing to shoot a Secret Service officer while sprinting through a security checkpoint with a shotgun during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner this past weekend.

The gunman, who had initially concealed the shotgun with a jacket, was subdued seven seconds after first encountering federal law enforcement.

The accused is expected to appear in court Thursday for a detention hearing as his attorneys push for his release. US Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro stated that she will issue more charges against the shooter.

Additionally, the prosecutor said there is no evidence that the agent was struck by friendly fire.
