A British man has been charged with assisting a foreign intelligence service and preparing an act of sabotage. Prosecutors say he plotted with Russian spies to sabotage a drone factory in England after having contact with a group linked to Russian military intelligence.

The man is accused of providing detailed information about drone manufacturing sites in England to a Russian intelligence unit. Prosecutors further state that the case involves research into signal-jamming equipment and an offer by the man to carry out the sabotage himself.

The man appeared in a London court on Thursday. A London judge denied him bail in connection with the charges.
