crime & law

Police are investigating an apparent arson attack on four ambulances belonging to a Jewish ambulance service in London. The incident occurred early Monday morning in Golders Green, a neighborhood with a large Jewish population.

Multiple cylinders on the vehicles exploded, causing damage including broken windows in a nearby building. No injuries were reported. Authorities are treating the incident as an antisemitic hate crime and are looking for three suspects.

The volunteer organization, Hatzola Northwest, provides emergency medical response. Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attack, stating antisemitism has no place in society.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials confirmed four ambulances operated by a Jewish charity were damaged in the blaze.
