Legal AI startup Norm Ai raises $120M at a $1.2B valuation

startups venture capital fundraising artificial intelligence

Nomos Ai Inc., which operates under the business name Norm Ai, has raised $120 million in a Series C funding round. This latest investment brings the valuation of the New York-based startup to $1.2 billion.

The funding round was led by Khosla Ventures, an early backer of OpenAI. Other participating investors include Blackstone, Bain Capital Ventures, and Craft.

While many AI legal startups focus on selling software to existing law firms, Norm Ai has taken a different approach by building its own firm. The company is developing a platform designed to embed legal operations into artificial intelligence agents, aiming to automate legal services and rethink how the industry bills for its work.
