Meta Platforms Inc. is investing an additional $21 billion in cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure provider CoreWeave Inc., expanding their existing partnership. This new commitment brings the total value of the infrastructure relationship to approximately $35 billion.

The deal will provide Meta with dedicated AI cloud capacity from 2027 through December 2032. It is designed to help Meta catch up with rivals in the AI race, following an underwhelming AI model release last year.

The contract includes early deployments of Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform across multiple sites. CoreWeave will supply computing power to Meta, supporting the development of advanced AI models.
