Three U.S. Secret Service employees have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into potential misconduct. The agency confirmed the move as part of a probe into the employees' conduct.
Communications director Anthony Guglielmi is among the staff members placed on leave. Two other non-law enforcement employees were also suspended.
The investigation is being conducted by the agency's professional standards office.
