The Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit filed by Florida against the states of California and Washington. Florida had sought to sue the two states for allegedly allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain commercial truck driver licenses.

The legal action accused California and Washington of making it too easy for people who entered the country illegally to receive these commercial licenses.

The case, which the court turned away Tuesday, stems from a crash in Florida last year. The accident involved an undocumented truck driver and resulted in the deaths of three people.
