Allyson Felix, the most decorated woman in Olympic athletics history, is planning a comeback. The sprinter, who has earned 11 medals, announced her intention to come out of retirement in an interview published on Monday.
At age 40, Felix is attempting a return to competition with the goal of competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
This move would provide the most decorated female track and field athlete of all time an opportunity to add to her Olympic-record medal haul.
