Saudi Aramco helicopter crash kills all 14 on board

A helicopter operated by Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura on Saudi Arabia's eastern coast early Sunday morning. All 14 people on board, who were Saudi nationals, were killed in the accident which occurred around 6 am local time.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown.

The accident comes as the world's largest oil company resumed crude oil loadings at its Ras Tanura terminal on Friday after a war-related pause of nearly four months. Aramco has recently shifted some oil exports to a pipeline to avoid the Strait of Hormuz, which has been disrupted by the Iran war.
