Malaysia will host its first Formula One race in nine years after agreeing to stage the postponed Bahrain Grand Prix. The race, which was called off in April amid the US-Israel war on Iran, will now be held at the Sepang circuit in October.
The rescheduled event will slot into the calendar between the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on September 26 and the race in Singapore on October 11. This arrangement allows the race to proceed despite the disruption caused by the war in the Middle East.
Additionally, the Formula 1 season finale is set to take place at the home circuit of Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari team in Imola if the scheduled final two rounds in Qatar and Abu Dhabi cannot be staged.
