Trump Media charges Wall Street $1.2M a year for early Truth Social access

Donald Trump’s social media company has launched Truth API, a new subscription service providing faster access to posts from the president and other top users on Truth Social. The company is leveraging Wall Street’s fear of missing out to market the service, with some customers paying up to $100,000 a month for a head start on the platform's feeds.

The introduction of Truth API comes as the media company retreats from previous failed side bets. In an effort to lift its stock, the organization has attempted roughly half a dozen new lines of business, though none of those prior ventures proved successful.

The release of the API has raised concerns among economists and legal experts. Specifically, the ability for certain users to obtain information faster than others has sparked worries regarding potential insider trading.
