Israeli settlers have blockaded the homes of three Palestinian families in the West Bank village of Qusra, near Nablus. Since August 9, residents have reported being cut off from food and supplies.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee denounced the siege as a "horrific act of terror." Huckabee, an evangelical Christian pastor and staunch defender of Israel who has previously embraced Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, condemned the actions of Jewish settlers besieging the home of an American Palestinian family.

Huckabee stated that the Israeli army intervened on Wednesday at the request of the United States to try to impose order. Despite the intervention, the soldiers failed to remove the settlers.
