Taylor Swift became the youngest woman ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame Thursday night at the age of 36.
Other members of this year's class include Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, and Walter Afanasieff.
Following an introduction from Steven Spielberg, Swift delivered a lengthy speech in which she thanked her family. She also encouraged artists to trust their human intuition in an industry driven by data.
