Manchester City have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest to sign England midfielder Elliot Anderson. The 23-year-old, who has emerged as a key part of Thomas Tuchel's England side, is now on the brink of a big money move to the Etihad Stadium.
The transfer fee is reported at £116 million, with the total package potentially rising to a British record £130 million. Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis had insisted that any deal for Anderson would have to eclipse the £125 million Liverpool paid to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle last summer.
Following the agreement, Nottingham Forest are now eyeing Lucas Bergvall as a potential replacement for the midfielder.
