Man pleads guilty to deadly firebombing of pro-Israel rally in Colorado

Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a man from Colorado Springs, pleaded guilty on Thursday to all charges in state court following a deadly firebombing attack in Boulder, Colorado. Soliman faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the incident, which included murder and dozens of other charges.

The attack occurred on June 1, 2025, when Soliman lobbed gasoline bombs at a group of marchers in downtown Boulder. The demonstrators were rallying in support of Israeli hostages and captives in Gaza.

The violence resulted in the death of one person and left at least a dozen others injured.

Following the incident, advocates have stated that the family of the assailant has been unjustly targeted.
