An Israeli airstrike killed at least three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Monday, health officials reported. The strike occurred as mediators from Egypt, Turkiye and Qatar met with Hamas leaders in Cairo to discuss a fragile ceasefire.

Since the ceasefire deal was implemented, over 750 Palestinians have been killed, while militants have killed four Israeli soldiers.

On Tuesday, medics in the region reported another Israeli airstrike, this time hitting a police car in Gaza. Mediators continue efforts to strengthen the U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement amid ongoing violence.
