Honda recalls nearly 900,000 cars due to rear suspension problems

Honda is recalling more than 800,000 vehicles because rear suspension components may fail. This failure could cause drivers to lose control, increasing the chances of a crash or serious injury.

The recall affects certain Honda Pilot, Ridgeline, and Passport vehicles, as well as Acura MDX models. These vehicles were sold in the District of Columbia and 23 states.

Despite the scale of the recall, Honda estimates that only 1% of the affected vehicles have the issue.
