Britain's King Charles and Queen Camilla arrive in New York on Wednesday as part of a four-day state visit to the U.S. The royal couple is visiting the city to commemorate the victims of the September 11, 2001, al Qaeda attack.
The itinerary includes a poignant wreath-laying ceremony at the National 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan. During the event, King Charles is expected to meet with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, first responders, and the families of the victims.
Following the memorial ceremony, the royal couple is scheduled to visit a nonprofit in Harlem, Christie’s, and the main branch of the New York Public Library.
