Roger Federer, the 20-time Grand Slam champion, was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, on Saturday.
The Swiss legend was visibly emotional during the ceremony, being brought to tears numerous times throughout his induction speech.
Federer stated that he is still writing his love letter to the sport that meant the world to him. He was applauded by former rivals and friends and paid tribute to the opponents, officials, fans, family, and friends who shared his career.
