French authorities have searched the Paris branch of Edmond de Rothschild bank as part of an investigation. The probe centers on former diplomat Fabrice Aidan, who has connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The financial prosecutor’s office conducted the search last week, focusing on Aidan’s alleged activities while employed at the Swiss private bank. Aidan is suspected of sending confidential information and documents to Epstein.
The French Foreign Ministry has also concluded an internal administrative investigation into the matter, conducting approximately 30 interviews related to the case.
The investigation into Aidan and his potential links to Epstein remains ongoing.
