The U.S. military has stopped another merchant vessel attempting to break through the blockade of Iranian ports.

U.S. Central Command reported that a missile was fired into the engine room of the M/V Lian Star on Friday, May 29.

The vessel remains adrift in the Gulf of Oman. U.S. forces have not boarded the ship.
