Thiago Agustin Tirante of Argentina secured a shock victory over Novak Djokovic in the second round of the Cincinnati Open on Saturday. Tirante rallied to win the match 2-6 6-4 6-4, resulting in a short stay at the tournament for Djokovic.
Djokovic struggled significantly with the heat and humidity during the match. He was seen doubling over or even dropping to his hands and knees between some points.
As a result of the conditions, the Serbian required a medical timeout during what proved to be a disappointing tune-up for the U.S. Open.
