Former Los Angeles police detective Mark Fuhrman has died. He was one of the first two detectives sent to investigate the 1994 killings of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
Fuhrman became a central figure in the investigation as one of the leads, reporting that he found a bloody glove at the home of O.J. Simpson.
However, his credibility was attacked during the trial when the defense raised the prospect of racial bias. After audio revealed his use of racial slurs, Fuhrman was convicted of perjury for lying during his testimony.
