Ukrainian forces attacked an oil terminal in St. Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, with drones overnight. Russian officials confirmed that the terminal was struck during the operation.
Russian authorities claimed to have shot down dozens of Ukrainian drones over the city on July 4. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that the Kronstadt naval base was also struck.
The long-range strikes are the latest salvo in Ukraine's expanding campaign to hinder Russia's war machine and inflict economic damage.
