Chelsea has suffered a damaging run of form, losing four consecutive Premier League matches and five of their last six fixtures across all competitions. These results have left the club seven points adrift of fifth-placed Liverpool with only five games remaining in the season.
Head coach Liam Rosenior has accepted full responsibility for the slump, noting that the team has failed to score in their last four league defeats. While acknowledging that his position could be under threat if results do not improve before the end of the season, Rosenior emphasized that the buck stops with him.
Despite the pressure, Rosenior stated on Monday that he continues to have the full support of the club's owners, including public backing from co-owner Behdad Eghbali. He noted that he feels 100 percent supported by ownership, though he remains realistic that long-term security is dependent on turning around the club's poor form.
