Iconic voice actor Peter Cullen has died at the age of 85. He passed away on Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles.
Cullen was best known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the Transformers franchise, voicing the heroic protagonist on television and in blockbuster Hollywood films for more than four decades. He also achieved success voicing Eeyore in the Winnie the Pooh cartoons.
The Montreal-born actor began his career on Canadian TV and radio. In addition to his most famous roles, he provided the voices for KARR in Knight Rider and the monster in Predator.
