Two local trains collided head-on north of Copenhagen, Denmark, on Thursday morning. Police described the collision as a major accident that occurred in a wooded area.

At least 17 people were injured in the crash and hospitalized. Health authorities reported that four of those injured are in critical condition. Some of the passengers were flown to a hospital to receive medical care.
